JOIN US….100+ Women Who Care Otsego was launched on July 17, 2013 by Cathy Deleski, Colleen Andrew, Petrea Delberta, Coleen Lewis, and Aida Rogers.

We come from all walks of life and different financial backgrounds. As individuals we felt that it was difficult to make a very large impact, but as a group we have the ability to contribute to the growth of our community in ways that we never before thought possible.

We invite you to become a part of this powerful group to have a positive impact on those in need here in Otsego County. We also invite you to come and pitch your charity for consideration in our drawing (we pick 3 from a hat)!   Also, bring a friend who has never been and you and she are both entered to win a B SIDE gift certificate!

100 Women Who Care was started in November of 2006 by Karen Dunigan of Jackson, MI, as a brilliantly simple way to raise money efficiently and quickly for local charities/non-profits/worthy causes. Her group of 100 women, at their first one-hour meeting, each wrote a check for $100 directly to the charity, raising $10,000 to buy 300 new baby cribs for an organization in their city. Since then, they have grown to over 200 members and chapters are forming all over the country. She’s been interviewed on CNN and other cities are forming groups.

Let me explain… We welcome all women who have an interest in giving back to their community, by joining together in a social gathering, to help chose and support one of our local charities. Entry is $100 each, which gives you one vote toward one of three charities that are selected that evening. You are also welcome to submit a charity of your choice to be considered. We pick three out of a hat. If yours is chosen, you take the stage to promote it. Then we all vote. The winning charity takes home the entire donation. Last year we raised $7,800 for the EDD MEMORIAL FUND. We hope so much that you can join us!! Find out more at our facebook page:
